Choose who can see your site

The website editor gains a Reach menu that brings together everything about your site's visibility.

• Three clear levels. Keep your site private while you work on it, make it accessible to anyone with the link, or let it be found on Google. Each level explains exactly who can reach your site.
• Your own address. Customize the address of your event site instead of keeping the generated one. The change is permanent, so we now warn you clearly before saving: the previous address stops working, and links or QR codes already shared no longer point to your site.
• Custom domains are coming. You can tell us you are interested, and we will let you know when they launch.

Search engine indexing and address customization are available on paid plans.

Make a better first impression

The same menu controls how your site looks outside of itself.

• Site icon. The icon shown in browser tabs and search results. We can fetch it from your brand or take it from your site.
• Social image. The image displayed when your site is shared on social networks or in messaging apps, with a screenshot of your site used as a starting point.
• Live previews. See how your event appears in a Google result and in a shared post before saving.

Event creation that goes further

• A creative direction that carries through. The design you pick now carries its mood, visual style and color intent all the way to your site's content and to the AI assistant, for a more coherent result.
• Real reasons instead of a generic error. When a generation fails, you now get an explanation of what happened and what to do next, at every step of creation.
• No more lost progress. Creation is more resilient: reloading or coming back to the flow no longer starts a second event, and an interrupted step recovers on its own.

A cleaner page for broken links

Visitors landing on an address that no longer exists now get a proper page instead of a bare error.

Smoother, brand-faithful event creation

The event creation assistant has been reworked from start to finish: more choice up front, better brand detection and more faithful designs.

• More event types, or your own. We now offer more event types, including personal ones like a wedding or a birthday. And if yours isn't listed, just type it in.
• Always the right company. Brand search now takes your country into account for better results. If it doesn't find the right company on the first try, refine your search terms and try again.
• Choose your logo. Several logos are proposed, so you can keep the one that best represents your brand.
• Designs faithful to your brand. Colors are now taken from your website rather than your logo, for a more accurate result. We generate four design directions, two close to your identity and two more creative, appearing as they are generated.

A better website editor

The website editor gets a batch of improvements and bug fixes. Among them, asking the AI assistant to change one color now changes only that color, and the actions in the editor bar are clearer.

SVG logos, and upload formats made explicit

You can now upload SVG files, ideal for logos that stay sharp at any size. Every upload area lists the accepted formats, and a clear message tells you what to do when a file is not supported.

6 months of hosting included

Hosting included with your event goes from 3 to 6 months, including for events already created. No automatic charge at the end of that period.

The website editor, simpler and more capable

We rebuilt the website editor around what matters: your page front and center, and an AI assistant that applies your requests right before your eyes.

• A built-in AI assistant. Describe the change you want and it edits your site directly, one section or the whole page.
• Manual editing, still there and nicer to use. On desktop, click any element in the preview to edit it yourself. We reworked this direct editing to make it simpler and smoother.
• Design settings in one place. Colors, corner radius and fonts now live inside the editor. The font picker renders each font in its own typeface, so you can choose at a glance.
• Effortless text formatting. Bold, italic, links and lists are edited visually, just like in a word processor.
• Images found in seconds. The image field offers ten formats suited to each spot, plus built-in Unsplash search.
• Icons in your language. Icon search now understands all six Waiv languages.

And if your site generation runs into trouble, no need to start over: simply retry it, your event stays accessible in the meantime.

Help and feedback, right in the app

A question, an issue, an idea? A new button in the sidebar lets you write to us directly from Waiv, without leaving your work.

For support requests, you can attach a replay of your session and allow an email reply: our team sees what you see and gets back to you faster.

Waiv on mobile

Waiv is now fully usable on your phone. Check your websites, emails and registration forms wherever you are, and edit them with the AI assistant, one tap away.

Start faster with brief examples

Blank page syndrome when describing your event? Waiv now offers varied, animated brief examples when you create an event. Pick the one that fits you and it gets analyzed instantly to kick off your project.

Internal notes on your participants

You can now add an internal note on each participant. It is visible only to you, never to the participant. Handy for keeping context: dietary needs, VIP status, special requests.

Emails that look right, everywhere

An automatic correction system now checks your emails before they go out. No more disappearing text or broken layouts depending on the recipient's inbox.

Your drafts stay private

Draft events no longer appear in Google results. Your projects remain confidential until you decide to publish them.
